On Thursday, September 29, 2016, a large scale warrant sweep was conducted around the Glenwood area. The sweep was a result of investigations by multiple agencies including Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Pike County Sheriff’s Office, Glenwood Police Department, and Drug Task Forces. Eight individuals were arrested on Thursday as a result of the investigations. More were arrested in the following days. At this time, warrants have been issued for others that have yet to be located. Sheriff White would like to thank everyone involved in the investigations and especially thank Sheriff Caldwell and Sheriff Watson for their efforts. That area has had several burglary and theft reports in the past few months and this will hopefully stop some of that.   Some of the individuals arrested are also suspects in other crimes and those crimes are a direct result of the drug trade.
